Subject: press release for Belleville

Gregory J. Lawler, founding Publisher & Author of The 2008 ArtFair SourceBook, is pleased to announce that the Number One fine art fair in the country for 2008 (based on the highest average artist sales at the 2007 fair) is none other than "Art on the Square", in Belleville, Illinois, directed by Patty Gregory. This reflect a solid advance in average sales from their 2006 performance, when this art fair came in 5th in the nation. This is a real feather in the cap of both Ms. Gregory and for the entire community of Belleville.

Ms. Gregory has built this fair up in the last 6 years from a relatively small show in an almost unknown little town in Southern Illinois, to the top selling, most highly respected event that it is today. She has also succeeded in developing one of the top purchase award programs in the entire country, an outstanding achievement, considering the relatively small population of the town of Belleville. And Ms. Gregory accomplished all of this while teaching school full time.

Second place goes to the Sausalito Art Festival, in Sausalito, California, and third place goes to the Cherry Creek Arts Festival in Denver, Colorado.

In 2007, Ms Gregory received the "Best Art Fair Director" award, also from SourceBook Publishing Company, Inc.
