Art on the Square does not require a
commission on sales. Artists are responsible for collecting and
reporting Illinois Sales Tax. (forms provided) |

Artists are required to be present with
their work during all festival hours. |

All exhibits must be housed
under white tents. Individual display areas are approximately 10'
x 10'. A maximum of 250 watts of electrical power is provided for
each space. Artists are responsible for own display and lighting
equipment and must conform to space and power allotments. |

Artist must provide a 10'
x 10' white pop-up tent. |

Only original art shall be displayed
on screens. Hand-pulled prints may be on screens; mechanical reproductions
may not be on screens. All work displayed on screens will be appropriately
framed or otherwise prepared for finished presentation. |

Signed reproductions may be sold, but
will be displayed in portfolios (not on screens) and clearly labeled
as reproductions. Note cards, calendars, books, and other items
created from the artists' own work may be offered. Mechanically
reproduced art should be limited to no more than 50% of display. |

All work offered must be original by
the exhibiting artist. No kits or work from kits are acceptable.
Plagiarism, production line art, or factory reproduced items (other
than noted above) are grounds for immediate removal from show. |

Artists may enter in multiple categories for jurying.
A separate jury fee ($25.00) and seperate application, is required for each category entered. |

Your slides are the only means by which our jurors
can judge your work. If you are not a qualified photographer, we
recommend you have your work professionally photographed. |
